HYDRATION… Hydration functions to supply moisture and nourishment to the skin surface. The ECHO₂Plus™ process of "Osmotic Hydration" is the only one of its kind to use specially formulated enzymes and mineral solutions to help draw moisture to the skin surface, thus providing skin cells with more nourishment than ever before possible.

OXYGENATION…This portion of the treatment is uniquely and exclusively part of the ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Care Treatment System. Oxygen, in conjunction with vitamins and minerals, is propelled onto the skin to nourish and revitalize the skin cells. Oxygen is an excellent nutrient for collagen and elastin. Q: What are the steps involved in the ECHO₂Plus™ Oxygen Treatment System?

A: The ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment System uses the following four steps:

EXFOLIATION - This is defined as the active removal of dead skin cells that form daily on the skin surface. It is an essential part of cleansing the skin.

CLEANSING - The ECHO₂Plus™ Oxygen Treatment System utilizes an exclusive Cleansing Solution which is applied after a thorough exfoliation to condition and tone the skin. Utilizing only natural essential oils (no alcohol or is ever used in the ECHO₂ Plus Oxygen Treatment System), this special formula acts as a gentle astringent to kill harmful bacteria.

HYDRATION - Here, a unique process known as Osmotic Hydration is employed using enzymes and amino acids to draw moisture from the air as well as beneath the skin, targeting the critical cells lying beneath the outer layer of the epidermis. In this critical phase of the treatment, an intense topical vitamin mask is applied employing hand massage techniques.

O₂XYGENATION – Once the skin has been properly prepared using the previous steps of Exfoliation, Cleansing and Hydration, the application of pure oxygen gas, along with concentrated forms of Vitamins A, C and E and 87 other land minerals begins. A cool, soothing therapeutic blast of oxygen and nutrients is propelled deep into the dermal (lower) layer of the skin where it adheres to the red blood cells and the collagen and elastin fibers.

Q: Is the ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment System safe?

A: Yes. All of the ingredients used in the ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment System are natural and are free of by-products. The sub-micronic delivery system used exclusively in the ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment is designed to allow the safe passage of Oxygen, vitamins and minerals into the epidermal junction. The ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment System is an entirely hypoallergenic system.

Q: How often should I have an ECHO₂Plus™ treatment?

A: In order to receive the full benefit of your ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment, a 4-3-2-1 program is recommended. That is, 4 treatments the first month, 3 treatments the second month, 2 treatments the third month and one treatment per month thereafter.

Q: Can I wear make-up after my ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment?

A: After your ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment, it is best to refrain from applying make-up for up to 45 minutes. This will allow ample time for completing the hydration of your skin, as well as providing adequate time for the initial effects of the oxygen to take place in the cells of the skin.

Q: Can I use the ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment System if I smoke?

A: Yes. The ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment System can be used on individuals who Smoke. However, it is recommended that smokers refrain from smoking for 45 minutes after the treatment. It should be noted that smoking causes a decrease in the molecular binding capacity of the oxygen molecule in the presence of Carbon Monoxide (CO) and will therefore lessen the beneficial effects of the treatment.

Q: How does the ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment System differ from other oxygen treatments and programs?

A: The ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment System is a preventive treatment for skin, designed to add maximum nutrition to the cells that make up the skin on a pore-by-pore basis. A: No. The ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment System is a treatment all by itself. However, many estheticians and physicians are having fabulous results combining the ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment System with Microdermabrasion, Facial Toning, Chemical Peels, and Laser Resurfacing.

Q: Is the ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment System compatible with my regular skin care regime?

A: Generally, yes. The ECHO₂Plus™ Skin Treatment System is compatible with most professional products. However, each case should be looked at individually. Please consult with your skin care professional.

Q: What causes acne?

A: There is much speculation and research into the cause of common acne. To date, there are no hard and fast answers as to what causes common acne.
