| Hall of Faces is happily situated between Golden Gate
Park, the historic Haight-Ashbury district, and the fashionable
Hayes Valley shopping area.
You enter through a wooden
gate and you are greeted with the yellow vibrance of Angel's
trumpets and the scents of impatiens
and other lush plants. To your left you see a lovely bench
under the sun-dappled light, filtered through the swaying trees
overhead. You note the sparkle of the sunlight breaking on the water's
surface in the fountain...it's
very relaxing here. To your left of the garden is the gauze-swagged
entrace
of our front door.
Once inside, you take a seat at one of the cush, overstuffed
couches
while we fetch you a tall, cold glass of cucumber water or perhaps
a refreshing cup of tea. You look around and survey the comfortably
relaxing environment: First you listen to the sound of the water
gurgling pleasantly from a fountain in the spa; then your eyes are
slowly calmed by the ambient
lighting and candles all about. The scent of lavender and lemon
verbena hang in the air, right next to the notes of soft music lilting
in the background.
